Jobseekusa.com began beta-testing their new vertical job-search technology yesterday; and according to their press release, “Jobseekusa.com has developed the world’s first job-search engine to use Natural Language Processing to retrieve millions of fresh job listings nationwide.”
Damon Levy, CEO of Jobseekusa.com, LLC. Is quoted as saying “Our goal is to provide users with a unique job-search experience they cannot and will not find with any of our competitors”.
At this early point in the beta, Jobseekusa is still refining their interface and growing their jobs database. Damon told me today that they have around 400k jobs, and expect to have 1.5- to 2-million jobs when in production.
It’s way too early to make judgments about this new entrant; but there are some promising features … e.g. a relevance meter for each matching job, a simple interface, and the promise of higher accuracy made possible by NLP technology.
Welcome to the Vertical Job Search Engine club Jobseekusa!
Thanks for the post! During our beta stage we will be taking feedback and continuing to refine our technology to perfection. What we have set out to do has been a difficult process, however, we hope to develop a site and technology that over time provides that perfect job search experience.
